Smoke House Restaurant

Prime rib to die for, and of course the would-famous garlic bread. The entertainment and service were superb. Truly one of the Valley's most enjoyable dinner spots.

The restaurant is very nostalgic, nice and clean. Food its very tasty and portions are enough for the costs. After all, your paying for the ambiance too.
My only complaint is regarding the service staff. They seemed to be bothered with issues behind the scenes and were not attentive to our group. They never asked if our food was ok, or if we needed anything. Our server reluctantly offered half of our group dessert. The other half of our table had to ask if we're aware going to be shown the desert tray.
I will give this place another try. Hopefully, it was just a bad day for the service staff.

The Smokehouse is a reliably comfortable, Old Hollywood steakhouse with good food and good service, but I chose it tonight because it's always an excellent place to meet, eat, and converse. So many hip and trendy places blast music, or reflect sound off every shiny surface, or they're dark, or otherwise off-putting. The Smokehouse is just right for spending time with friends or family. Food? I had a Ribeye -- it was perfect, as ordered. Salads, greens, etc, were well-prepared. The wine selection is substantial, not pretentious. The prices are not cheap, but moderate. I'm looking forward to the summer prime rib specials, an excellent deal! :-)

Excellent food and service. The old fashioned bar comes right out of the 50's. Whenever I go, I expect to see Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin sitting at the bar. Ribs are fantastic, barbecue pork sandwich is delish. The Garlic Cheese bread is unbelievable good. Highly recommended. Valet parking is recommended and not too expensive. There is also parking on the Street but it is limited. Reservations are recommended on weekends and holidays.
