Delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly service

Went for the lunch special and ordered the chicken piccata. It was very zesty and tasty. It was a small dish so I imagine it would be best to oder a couple of courses to get the full experience. It had it’s own parking lot as well as ample street parking. The waitress was very polite and attentive. Would definitely go again.

The food was really, really good, plated stylishly, in proper portions. Had a late lunch on a Tuesday right before they would have closed to prep for dinner, but we were not rushed and the service was as good as the food. The location isn't my favorite, but they've done as well as I suppose is possible with former sports bar/Philly cheese steak sandwich spot.

I had the Chicken Marsala and imagined that it included a pasta, so when I was asked to pick a side, I decided on mashed potatoes for some reason. When the food arrived, there wasn't pasta, so I had chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes, and was perfect!

I'll be back the next time I can afford it ~ good for a couples date night.

We love this place. The "we" is the important part of that sentence. Because I don't think my husband has ever said that about a restaurant, but even he loves going to Centanni. We were introduced to this wonderful restaurant by some very good friends who know the owners. It is reasonably priced and has a good selection of both food and wine. The atmosphere invites conversation and relaxation. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and professional. It's not unusual to see either the owner or the chef walking the dining room and talking to customers. The only real negative is the small parking lot. But for anyone that loves great food and a pleasant place to enjoy it, I would highly recommend you try Centanni Trattoria
