Great place to catch a Game! Or the Oscars with it's mini stadium seating. Dive bar feel on a large scale. Great dive food, great drinks!
Awesome decor! That alone gets 5 stars from me, this photo being my favorite. Bathroom is clean and I had a great time overall!
I'm visiting my brother here in Burbank for the Holidays. The Barney's Beanery in Burbank is his favorite local hangout and we went there for drinks on Christmas Eve. They have a house IPA that's my brother's favorite and I liked it quite a bit myself. No question you're drinking an IPA but it's mellower in character than some of the others now available. I'd had it the day before when we ate at the Barney's in Pasadena. It went really well with the burger I had at that location. Some IPA's tend to overpower foods but not the Barney's house draft. I don't remember what a pint of that particular IPA costs at the moment but it's very attractively priced. (My brother happened to be buying and he remarked that it's a bargain for the quality of a beer if represents...and he's right. I wish I could get it in Texas, where I live.)
Went on Monday with a friend for a quick and easy dinner. Waited a half an hour and left without getting seated. Do not go on Monday nights when their is a Football Game on. You won't get in. It is noisy and all the staff looked so stressed.
Updated 12/15/18: had a delicious corned beef Reuben sandwich. The waitress was nice. Better experience. This may be that it was late afternoon.
