Porto's Bakery and Cafe

This place is amazing! And very reasonably priced. Their entrees are quite tasty but it’s the pastries and goodies that I come for. Don’t leave without getting a potato ball, chicken empanada and guava and cheese pastry, and all that will only cost you $3.

This place is so good that when you are at lax you frequently see people in the know carrying Porto’s boxes as they bring treats home!

There's nothing new I could say about Porto's... It's a family owned Cuban bakery & cafe with iconic pastries & sandwiches. Not once in the last 38 years I've been there that there was not a super long line, which tells you about its popularity, but even though it looks like there's no rhyme or reason, it somehow moves fast. The guava cheese pastry is my must-have!

Yes, yes, yes!! Who cares about the long line. The pastries here are good. The line is worth the wait. Plus the line goes fast. And I mean fast! The biggest reason I give it five stars is for the actual food. Rice,beans,plantains,and steak is a staple food of where I am from. So to have it bought back so childhood memories. Plus it’s cheap!!! I mean we ordered a lot of food and pastries and it was Under $40! All the food and didn’t manage to take a picture. Lol

One of the Best Bakeries in all USA. I love this place. Don't worry for the waiting line, they have to many people to take tour orders. Feel free to order any thing on the Menu. All is delicious.

This place is choice. Great sandwiches, good coffee, amazing pastries and more! Get a slice of delicious cake or order an entire one for a celebration, there's many options and all are recommended. The building in Burbank is large and the other locations are fairly big too. The lines in the morning can wrap around the block but if you come in the evening, it's far more manageable. Either way it's worth the wait. Lots of good choices, my favorite is the guava pulled pork and their cheesecake.
