Hummus Republic

The owner was awesome... super busy and he was a one man show during COVID. He handled the situation awesome! Made sure everyone was happy and the food was awesome! Great for Vegans and Vegetarians!

Hummus Republic is a new spot on the San Fernando Strip in Burbank, Ca. I stumbled upon it in my way to a different restaurant. Their sign on the sidewalk was enticing, so I figured I'd check it out. I'm so happy I did!! Hummus Republic is very fresh! The atmosphere is light and a little trendy. Its bright, fun, and clean. I was greeted by whom I assume is the owner. He was so welcoming and immediately went into his spiel about what they offer. There are seemingly endless choices. I got the bowl, which is apparently the most popular option. The bowl comes with a base, your choice of three types of hummus, a green option, and a slew of other sides....then, you pick a protein. They have veggie, vegan, and meat options. This bow is large enough to share, but sensible enough to finish on your own. And its reasonably priced! I love this place and definitely recommend it. I will be eating here again.

I was very impressed with the taste of the food here. I had a bowl with almost every vegan option thrown in. Every bite was delicious. The service was amazing. Being our first time there could have been hard to choose what to eat, but the guy helping us (I forgot to catch his name,) was so knowledgeable and patient. I'll definitely be back!

A wide section of fresh, tasty food! We got bowls and they filled it past the brim with unlimited veggies of choice. Too much couscous on the bottom of the bowl for our liking, but the salad itself was very tasty. The hummus was so fresh, smooth, and tasty; one of the best I’ve had! He gave us a sample of the falafel and it was delicious! Excellent service; very friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. Will come back!
