Really good. Personal favorite is the green chile version. Also get the pot stickers, always.
really great taste, stopped by randomly after a clinic visiting, came out awesome flavor like what i had in Tokyo last year!highly recommended
I love this place! They don't have the biggest menu, but easily the best ramen in Claremont. Good prices and delicious food. I'm always happy every time I leave here.
We called ahead and made reservations which turned out to be a good thing. We were seated right when we walked in. Wait time was 25 minutes.
My Son-in-law took us to eat here because he and my daughter had been and really enjoyed it. My wife and I did not enjoy it as much. The broth in the ramen was tasty and hot. It had plenty of tasty noodles and portions were very large. The meat was very fatty in my ramen but that was probably supposed to be that way because of the item I ordered. The broth was saltier than it needed to be but still tasted good.
My Son-in-Law ordered a side of octopus balls that had very little octopus in them. It was mostly, if not all, dough. He described the inside as gooey. We had a Japanese friend with us that said it should have much more octopus. The tempura shrimp appeared to be the same- mostly breaded dough.
I ordered an iced tea that was very tasty but had to ask several times for sweetener. Unfortunately, when the waitress finally responded, I found out they didn't have artificial sweeteners, only sugar. I took the sugar but was disappointed in the service and lack of common sweeteners.
Overall, I give 3 stars at best. I might give it another try but won't feel I'm missing out if I don't.
Excellent ramen and service. Can't go wrong. The tofu appetizer is also a regular order when we visit. The pork is delicious and you can add on extra pieces if you are hungry. They have different broth options, all of which are good. I had started getting the cold soup with dipping noodles which is a nice change and very tasty.
