Food was tasty and in great quantity. Be sure to ask for their in-house soy sauce, and I recommend the sesame balls for desert.
The 3-star rating is for one reason:
1) DO NOT get the duck. Comes in a vat of broth which is cool, but it's big and you have to stand up in order to get any food. Also, you have nowhere to put the bones when you are done, and there is no real way to cut the meat from the breast as they don't provide a knife. Ended up making a mess on the table. There is no true taste on its own, but the in-house soy sauce makes up for it.
Aside from the duck, a good place to eat!

51 is the place to go for a good Chinese Restaurant.
Small Menu, but any choice of dish you cannot go wrong.
Nice surrounding and ambiance.
Relaxing and comfortable.
You don't want to est go for Tea Treat. Beautiful Ceremony.
A great addition to Culver City.

Good but not great. For example, food was tasty but not hot. Service was friendly, but not fast. Etc. I’ll be back since the place certainly has potential.

The food here is so delicious and pretty upscale. Yet the prices are super reasonable! The waitstaff is very knowledgeable of the cuisine and very helpful. Not to mention the atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect place for a date night or celebration dinner

I love this place. Great, healthy delicious Chinese food. Really creative and interesting dishes. Excellent prices and portions. Please visit. Culver needs more places like this!!
