“Out of town Restaurants that expand can be tricky. Harold’s, however, got it right at their Culver City location. I ordered delivery so I can’t give the fine details of the location parking, appearance, nor in person customer service from their workers. But I will say that the Wing deal and potato salad I ordered were fresh, and seasoned right. And the portions were surprisingly decent. I’d recommend this place. And next time I will go myself for the sit down experience.”

“Really solid food at a good price. I built a delicious vegetarian bowl that filled me up. I'm a 6'4" man, so that last part speaks volumes. Really liked the ease of ordering and the level of customization. Would eat here again.”

“The management was highly gracious when we told them we got recently married and were on honeymoon. They even called us and asked if we needed anything else. They treated us with Mionetto Prosecco, Lava molten cake and fresh strawberries. Jackie and Richard at the reception were very accommodating and friendly. Richard went above and beyond to give us excellent service. Way to go 👏🏽👏🏽 Will highly recommend this Hotel to stay and best of all its only 7 mins from LAX.”

“Normally I don’t complain about portions, but to get three small birria tacos with no consume for $20 is ridiculous. The rice was undercooked, crunchy, and badly seasoned. The beans were pretty mediocre. The meat was quite tasty, I just wish the quality and value was better.”

“First time trying here and got 3 different açai bowls for myself and friends. The portion size is HUGE and they are so yummy I love açai bowls and I’m always searching for a good spot and this is definitely going to become my new favorite!! I put the camera next to the bowl for size reference”

“I decided to come to this establishment because I saw it on TikTok, and it was my husband's birthday (9/11) first off the food was very flavorful, but the female that took our order Her attitude was horrible. My husband ordered jerk chicken tacos which she brought out shrimp jerk tacos. He didn't complain. He ate it, anyway. He also ordered the rice and gravy and he said that it was horrible. The rice was hard and the gravy was very salty. My food was good. I had the jerk shrimp. I also had yams and macaroni and cheese. I ordered a peach cobbler. I wish I was told that the peach cobbler does not come hot/warm. She just slammed a cold container on the counter and said here's your peach cobbler. Overall, our experience here was not good so I will not be coming back.... So on to the next black owned restaurant!”

“Best sushi in LA. These guys finally did it— sustainable fish, high quality organic ingredients (seaweed salad doesn’t have green dye) and insane flavors. Branding and vibe are on point. Everyone is super friendly and passionate about the sustainability aspect of their food.”

“Got the Piccadilly, it’s SO good. It’s a chicken salad sandwich on focaccia. Definitely going back to try more sandwiches. Monroe Place is brand new and definitely needed on Washington Blvd, I stopped in on their first day open for lunch. Yum!”

“Top of the The Shay hotel in Culver City. For roof top bars, this has a good view of Baldwin Hill and gbe surrounding area, which is really nice. There is valet parking or you can park at a nearby garage. This is an up and coming spot near The Platform so you can do a little shopping too. Drinks are super cute here with their flamingo topped toothpick and garnishes. Really liked the Painkiller! Smooth and strong!! The Burger was pretty good too. Classic with two pressed patties and sauce on the side that added to the richness! The Palm Springs Bowl was healthy and nutrition. Definitely balanced out the burger! All in all, a nice roof top that is worth checking out in the Culver City area!”

“Great space, great brunch, and great drinks. I really like the chicken picnic concept. Very cool, but there were a couple issues- The menu states wings, but actually mini drumsticks and they were a little undercooked. Cali75 is an excellent brunch cocktail- I highly recommend if you like a gin and bubbly mix. Etta, also sent me a follow up appreciation email, since I made a reservation. How thoughtful!”

“Excellent sandwich shop. Order at the counter and sit at inexpensive but comfortable tables. My wife had the pesto chicken sandwich. I had the burger. Both came with roasted potatoes that were fried kind of like home fries but bigger. I also had the homemade soup. All of it was outstanding! Service was great and very friendly. There's metered parking on the street. Spent $50 for the two of us but it was well worth it! They also serve breakfast all day but we did not have that.”

“This guy has the most delicious falafel I've ever had, and coming from a middle eastern country, I've had lots of them. The falafels are so crunchy, don't taste like uncooked chickpeas, and are not greasy at all! They're also well-spiced. The tahini sauce is great and the guy selling them is so nice and welcoming. I wish the stand was somewhere outside, as the smell somehow disturbs the shopping experience in the supermarket and also it gets really crowded there. You should definitely try.”

“I love, love, love Ike’s — we come here all the time. All time favorites are: The Handsome Owl, Time Traveler’s Wife and We’re Just Friends. One thing— please, please start labeling your sandwiches again. I ordered four sandwiches the other night and two yesterday and we had to play “guess the sandwich”— not a good situation for vegans or people that can’t eat spicy food. Otherwise, Ike’s has something here for everyone!”

“Great new Indian restaurant in downtown Culver! We were easily able to get a table without a reservation. The patio was nicely set up with a great vibe. The menu is extensive with lots of options. Interesting mix of classic Indian dishes with some twists on the small plates and appetizers. The owner was there and it was great to meet him. He personally introduced himself to every table. Highly recommend the paneer tacos, chicken chili bites, cauliflower app, and the butter chicken. Cocktails were also great. Can't go wrong here!”

“what a gem place and owner is very knowledge about south indian food and very passionate about food. he recommended few dishes and outstanding taste and very friendly service. I felt like a home food and all lunch specials are cooked individually (most of the people are using buffet model or precooked items)”
