“The food that I've eaten there is exceptionally good at the bar area lacks a lot to be desired. They're not places where you can sit and chat with your friends it is too loud not that friendly. I lived at Embassy here in Downey for 2 months when my house burned down before the remodel. During that time the hospitality bar was very nice and the front bar was exceptionally nice and friendly and laid out in a way that you could talk to more than one person at a time. If you're thinking of remodeling again do it. Again the food was very good at blackstone's Grill although I must tell you that even though we had a reservation for New Year's last year they ran out of lobster and we were there early. They send somebody out to my more but it's still kind of ruined our special night out. And there were six of us.”

“We’ve been here on a Friday night, it was so busy that we had to wait an hour and a half to get in which was really annoying! That’s the only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5. The food is amazing there! We ordered the tomahawk steak and a burger. Both was delicious but the steak was incredible!!! Really enjoyed it and I will be back. Hopefully I won’t need to wait in that kind of a line again.”

“Good food and great drinks! I had the smoked old fashioned and it was delicious. The service is not really good meaning they take forever to attend you and if you want another round well its another 15 minutes. They did however apologize for the delay. The upstairs is awesome really great. Nice dance floor and great drinks. Bartenders are fast. I wish they had more music variety. They only play Spanish music. I wish they had top 40, hip hop, house anything really. Will not go back because I don’t like Spanish music. But if they have a night with different music then I will go back.”
