“There's a new restaurant in the heart of El Monte that deserves more stars than I can give it. 5 is simply not enough. And if you tried the food, you will know what I mean. I met the chef/owner awhile ago and her story is inspiring. Like most of us she had a job that just paid the bills. She did it willingly and diligently for years, but it didn't inspire her. So after a series of cinematic events (stuff I will not get into here), she decided to start her own business, but not any type of business, a plant-based restaurant, with the simple goal of planting seeds of love through food. On the surface, her mission statement/philosophy might sound like 70's hippie rhetoric or a new age mantra, but if you read the statement one more time two words stick out: love and food. The two things essential to life. Take what you want from her mission statement, for me it is simply brilliant. There's a common perception that healthy food is boring food. It is food without life, flavor, or joy. But that simply is not the case at Plant Love Food. If you love the rich flavors, and spices, and colors of Mexican food, you will love the food here. I've had the nachos, the tacos, and most recently her chicken burritos and the food is amazingly delicious. And the bonus is, it is all plant-based and healthy too. Please check this place out. You will keep coming back for more.”

“We were staying in a hotel nearby because a water pipe had broken in our apartment. One night we walked over to the Wechat and found it to be very family friendly and good for a quick meal. There are many oven baked dishes with different ingredients baked over the top of rice or noodles. There were several families in when we were there. Everyone was having a good time with good Wifi connections.”

“A beautiful hall for events. I recently attended a birthday celebration here. Although it was a bit tricky to find, this location is really neat and spacious inside. There is even an outdoor patio with a gazebo. At night the LED lights on the ceiling made the dance floor even more fun. The decoration provided by the hall was also really nice and made the place look better than it already did. I was told it was Party-N-More rentals who had set up for the hall on this occasion.”
