El Gringo El Segundo

Food selection was good judging that it is a specialty Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the cooking is not that good. The soup was oversalted while other dishes completely unseasoned. But, the staff was very friendly and happy to assist anyone.

First time visiting and it was Taco Tuesday! If you buy ANY drink the tacos are half price; not too bad! The tacos are fresh and the portions are huge. I could only eat 2 which made me sad lol.
The chips served to the table could use a little work; didn't seem fresh. But the salsa was great! Wasn't too pleased with salsa Verde I asked for, as it was pureed and not overly flavorful. I would come back for the tacos though; nice job kitchen!

Great happy hour menu. Lovely open space that makes it feel like you're sitting outside wherever you are sitting. Tasty food and friendly service. I like stopping here after leaving LAX to decompress a bit before getting on the freeway.

Food was great. We did take out and the cashier asked us for our then says nevermind go to the bar and place your order. Why bother listening to my order to send.us away.
