“At arrival, it was quite interesting that you enter through the distillery, then the bar is (kind of closed/hidden) in the the back. The environment is entertaining—it’s calm yet exciting. They have done alot in the space they have, and still allow for seating with alot of elbow (and social) space - to make the meal even more enjoyable. Love their decor and music. I kinda wish my wife still worked down the street since this is such a fun place to go. I love sitting out on the back patio. It always feels like you're in a friend's back yard. A nice selection of locally sourced craft beers and then all of the usuals. It fits in perfect with the small town vibe of El Segundo. Believe me, if I lived in the area, I would be a regular.”

Also love their delicious soups and Deluca salad with walnuts, garbanzos and chicken. The deserts are amazing too. “A must-have burger if you’re in the area! There’s tons of amazing restaurants around, but The Habit knows how to make a good burger. Vegan friendly and gluten free friendly options here. My husband gets the double cheese burger with bacon, mushrooms and avocado. Portobello mushrooms, I may add. I always steal a mushroom from his burger, they’re so juicy - add mushrooms if you’re a fan of fungi. Excellent fries, not too thin. And their onion rings are perfect crunchy!! They have slurping good malts. Their chocolate malt takes you on a dairy dream journey. Plenty of free parking out front. Lots of clean seating inside. Or take your food to-go!”

“We dropped in for a cocktail after work so not a hotel guest. But found the bar staff ( Daria in particular) very friendly and charming. She engaged with everyone new guests or old acquaintances. Then we played pool for free in the cozy lounge. Has outdoor seating also with heaters. One downside was the food. It came so fast and very hot we thought it had been heated in a microwave. But can’t say for sure. Prob would not order any food again, but would definitely return for drinks. Nice clean place. Nice ambiance.”

“Stopped by this place for the first time today. Tried the beef and lamb gyro special. It was $13 and included a fountain drink and fries or a Greek salad. The gyro was large and filling and probably one of the best I've had out here in LA. It was a little messy but had the perfect amount of fillings and wasn't stingy on the meat which was made right in store and not the frozen garbage you get at some places. The salad was also good, large, and very fresh with a good mix of ingredients. it included a red wine vinegar/oil dressing which appeared mixed in house. The price was a little expensive, but this was easily made up for in premium quality and portion size. The restaurant itself had some indoor seating and was very clean. The staff was friendly and I was presented with my plate within 5 minutes of ordering. Will definitely be returning and trying some other options when not gorging on their gyro's.”
