“Good for a quick cup of coffee. A 16 oz cup is $5.30. The owners put in an extra effort and procure lids that are compostable. I hope that the trash from the coffee shop will be sent to a compost heap indeed ;) The patio is nice. I just wish that there would be music on the patio too. The music indoors was quite nice. And I very nearly burst into tears because I didn't know I needed to hear it. “So, I had an expression and chocolate gelato thing that was completely NOT diet. However, the bitter coffee and the chocolate completely enhanced these flavors for each other. I would have posted the "before"...but, I was too busy enjoying. Nice, small, neat business. Don't expect much more than gelato and you will be pleasantly surprised by other (as available) fresh items...in small quantities. Enjoy! I did!”

“Loved the diner feel in here. Fast, friendly service! I ordered the shrimp sandwich and it was amazing! Favourite shrimp dish of my El Segundo visit. My lunch partner ordered a malt with his burger (which was also real good) had one sip and then accidentally knocked it over. Huge mess. Someone came right over and cleaned it up with basically one wipe. Amazing. Then, they made him a new milkshake free of charge! How sweet is that? Of course we tipped like 35%. Comfy booths, big windows, clean diner vibe and delicious food. Perfect recipe for one happy Lesley.”

“I came to Blue Butterfly during my lunch break and it was decently busy. I was looking for a local coffee shop with pastries and Blue Butterfly fit the bill. I got an medium iced latte which was good, but too milky for my taste. I like really tasting the coffee so the next time I come, I'd either add a shot to my drink or get something without milk. I also got an almond croissant which was super good and buttery when heated up. I want to try the chocolate croissant next time :) They also have a good amount of whole beans for sale in bags. The roast dates are printed and from what I could tell, nothing was more than 1-2 weeks old. Fresh! If only there was more coffee in my latte!! If I liked the coffee, I definitely would have bought a bag of beans for home.”

“Great food and service with a great selection of meals. I usually go for brunch and have never been disappointed. All items are fresh and healthy with more options advertised as even healthier than normal. Even the healthy options are good portions so when you leave you won't feel healthy and also won't feel bloated. There are happy hour options for bar seats only, but the seats are comfortable and the TVs are right in front to watch the news or sports. Can't go wrong here”

“Bagels so nice, we ended up going twice! A great little grab and go spot for Bagels, Sandwiches and other breakfast items. The bagels were awesome, full of flavour, slightly warm and soft. The attendants behind the counter were always pleasant and willing to answer any questions. The list of toppings and shmear’s were plentiful as were the variety of bagels. Expect a small line when you arrive but the crew does a great job of working through the line quickly without sacrificing quality of food!”
