“Since opening my office on Market Street, Emma's Snack Shop has been one of my staple stores. Mostly cold sandwiches and salads, but I love the chili cheese dog. I like to counter it with Emma's Avocado Salad, to please the Health and Gluttony gods :) Emma and Nicholas have been in that location for 20+ years and I can see why. Everyone there is friendly. The only caveat is that it's tiny inside, so for a claustrophob like me, I stand outside if it's crowded. If you're in the area and you need a quick bite, stop by and say Hi to Emma. Metered parking. No bathrooms. No sitting area.”

“The lady owns the place with her husband and she was really sweet. My husband and I were visiting from Vegas and stumbled upon this restaurant randomly. It's not upscale by any means but they make you feel comfortable in their little spot right off of Manchester. We ordered the 5 piece shrimp and 5 piece jumbo shrimp. Everything was so flavorful and so fresh. I will come to this spot anytime I'm in town. We loved it.”

“Underground, cozy, great ambiance - just what you want in a cocktail lounge. I was there around midnight and it wasn't too busy. There was a very small line outside, but inside it wasn't cramped at all. The cocktails are unique and the bartenders are generous. The food is super flavorful and not reliant on soy and fake meat products. A man using can't wait to go back next time I'm in Inglewood. I wish I lived closer cuz I would be there every week if I did. My favorite dish was a soul food platter it was so delicious without any weird substitute. Another person in my group got but enchilada that was delicious and the third person in our group got veggie stir-fry that was also really good. My hands-down favorite thing was her salad dressing not oily it has mango in it super flavorful and light. All I can say is if you're in Inglewood try it out it's really good 3 non-vegans cleaner plates.”
