“Delicately-textured and just sweet enough, these cupcakes are perfect for children and adults alike. Speaking of "adult" palates, they specialize in alcohol infused cupcakes. I tried their key-lime cupcake and boy it was definitely infused! The icings are very airy, fluffy and not-too-sweet. I tried the varieties pictured below. Stand out to me was their version of the red velvet, which is uniquely brighter than other red velvet versions that I've tasted both in flavor and color. Service was amazing. Passion was extremely helpful in every way. I had some trouble deciding which flavors and she patiently walked me through it. The only thing is I wish their beautifully-textured carrot cake had more carrots in it. Thank you we cupcakes!”

“I used to really like this spot but they have been on a continuous decline for awhile now. The place is not kept up and recently they removed options from the side bar section. They have always been a hit or miss situation with their grilled chicken but i have had good timing in my most recent visits. Be sure to check your order before leaving if doing a take-out as they regularly mess it up. The grilled chicken is just too good though so I put up with the flaws.”

“Since opening my office on Market Street, Emma's Snack Shop has been one of my staple stores. Mostly cold sandwiches and salads, but I love the chili cheese dog. I like to counter it with Emma's Avocado Salad, to please the Health and Gluttony gods :) Emma and Nicholas have been in that location for 20+ years and I can see why. Everyone there is friendly. The only caveat is that it's tiny inside, so for a claustrophob like me, I stand outside if it's crowded. If you're in the area and you need a quick bite, stop by and say Hi to Emma. Metered parking. No bathrooms. No sitting area.”

“Five guys has really wonderful burgers. The only problem is their burgers are very expensive. Because of where the establishment is located, the parking is on either side of the building. It's easy to get to but there is a short walk in order to get to the entrance. It shouldn't be a problem even if you are in a wheel chair. We had no problem finding a parking space because there is usually lots of parking available. And because it's located right on Crenshaw & Imperial it's easy to see from the street. The store is very clean inside. It is a new location. The young man who helped us was very pleasant and moved very quickly. As we waited for our order, we did take advantage of the peanuts that are complimentary to customers as they wait. We received our order fairly fast and took it home to eat. I forgot to mention there is no drive-through. The food was delicious. The burgers are thick and juicy and well seasoned. The fries are fresh and tender but crispy on the outside, delicious. I recommend them to anyone because of the taste of their food and they don't have fillers and all those extra unhealthy additives had many fast food restaurants put in their food. You will definitely enjoy Five Guys if you like a nice tasty Burger.”
