Salt Lick Tavern

Took a group ride out here on a Sat during Covid-19 lockdown. We parked and ate our food across the street as it is “take out only” during lockdown.

They got the food and drinks out so fast for the amount of people that showed up!!! Best damn steak burger I have ever had, the fries were perfect, nice hot fresh and salty

Made the trip from Santa Clarita just to get the ranch house steak burger and the grilled chicken breast sandwich. Delicious food and great service by Rick and Daniel. Worth the trip. Will be coming back.

As residents of Green Valley, my husband and I often find ourselves pretty limited to the food here on the mountain. While other restaurants in the area make okay food, we mainly visit those places by default when we want to get out of the house but not drive into town. We were thrilled to hear the Salt Lick Tavern would be opening up (but honestly, we didn't have our hope set too high). All I can say is WOW. Not only is the food incredible (like way surpasses what any of the other restaurants provide up here), but the staff is incredibly sweet and the bar is absolutely stunning. I had the privilege of bringing my family with us when they visited last weekend just before my brother goes to New Zealand for work, and even they were impressed (which is pretty rad since they all live in restaurant-dense areas like Orange County, Santa Barbara, and Palm Springs). All in all, if I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Cannot wait to stop in again this weekend!

Just went here for the first time Daniel the assistant manager and the rest of the staff were amazing! The place looks awesome they did a really good job of making it feel new but keeping some of the original feel of this place. We look forward to trying out some pizza next time! We are locals but any one who visits us we will be proud to bring them here to show off our local restaurant!!
