The Modern Tea Room

My daughter asked me to join her for tea at the modern tea house. Was our first visit. We arrived at lunchtime on a busy Friday, no available tables. We were greeted by the owner and given menus, she told us wait would be short, it was. Food was fresh & very flavorful. I had organic peach tea, my daughter had a drink called " eye candy" Sooo good. really great attentive service! worth the wait! definitely recommend. Loved the many vegan options for my daughter! thank you

Unique and delicious food. The teas are so good made me feel like I have been making tea wrong all my life. I recommend calling ahead before you go, you may be on hold for a good while but the food is definitely worth the wait.

I found another gem in a surprising place. (last week it was an awesome crepe place in Sierra Madre) Didn't know ahead of time that they had a vegan menu, but I saw that they had an avocado sandwich that looked pretty great, so that's what I was going to get. But when I got there they had a vegan menu right on the table and it had so many things that I wanted to get. I ended up getting the avocado sandwich and the walnut burrito/wrap, which I took half home. They were both fantastic. For dessert I had the vegan pop tart and it was so incredible that I bought three more to take home. BTW, they have great tea as well, I had one of the best teas I've ever had, the Green Mint. I can't recommend this place more highly. I wish they had a location in Los Angeles, I would be a regular. I think this place should start to expand to other locations.

The tea was delicious albeit way overpriced. The service was so slow it makes sloths jealous. The food was fresh and flavorful with a decent vegan menu.

Fun beautiful place to try some new drinks! Staff was helpful and the food looked amazing! Can't wait to try it at lunch!
