“Mistakes are made & life gets in the way sometimes. The first time I ordered here, there was some kind of emergency and things did not go so well. But this happens to the best of us. I recently ordered gnocchi and pizza and can say it's some of the best in Los Angeles. La Besciamella's gnocchi is unique, delicate and perfectly complemented by the tomato basil sauce & mozzarella. The pizza was equally lovely and without real compare in the South Bay. Eatalian maybe has a more delicate dough, but La Besciamella's is more substantial and they make something as simple as a cheese pizza into something beautiful. Overall, I'm really starting to appreciate this place, specifically that they're takeout only. Good food is the focus.”

“This place is a hidden gem! Amazing taste and portions! You could tell they use really fresh ingredients as everything tasted great! I had the jerk chicken sandwich and it comes with “tostones”. I also tried the Guanabana and Mamey milkshakes and they were on point! They also have imported drinks like Jupiña…definitely a must try!”

“Definitely recommend ordering from bens, so far my favorites are the wagyu Beef hearty bowl and the chicken hearty bowl. I usually end up ordering late night and the quality has never failed. I also like the attention to detail they take for the bowls. Apart from being delicious and healthy, the bowls always look nice, which I definitely appreciate. You can tell whoever is cooking up the bowls definitely has a passion for it. Now for the actual food they meat is always juicy and full of flavor. I like how they cut up the vegetables so it’s easier to disgust and the option to add avocado. The pickled onions are a must have on the bowls! As for sauces I recommend the Smokey chipotle & the bens hot sauce. Keep up the good work 🙌🏽 And give my thanks to whoever cooks up the bowls at night, they never disappoint!”

“A Guatemalan food truck!! Food was delicious. I tried the garnachas (mini fried tortillas topped with a ground beef mixture, sauce, and cheese) as well as Guatemalan tamales. The tamales were huge and had a ton of the traditional toppings! The garnachas were really yummy. The food truck sets up behind Alondra park, near the baseball field on the Manhattan Beach side (near Prairie). Definitely coming back for their rotating specials!”
