Weiland Taphouse & BBQ

Very good BBQ. The sandwiches we're absolutely delicious and we will be going back. The Mac and cheese left something to be desired though. Other than that, it was great.

Good food, nice beer list. On the day we visited someone had messed up ordering the food and most of the menu was not available, but it wasn't our first visit, so will give it another try.

I love the food here and since the place is still new it doesnt seem to have gotten very busy yet. But the space is very large so even if it was kind of busy it may not appear that way.

How amazing is their food?? If I could give them 100 stars I WOULD!! Definitely try their onion straws appetizer- it is TO DIE FOR! Also, try the pulled pork & the brisket on their sandwiches or the platter. You'll wan't extra bbq sauce because they really do it right. My father was born & raised in Tenessee and was IN LOVE with bbq all his life and started me on it when I was a baby. So, when I tell you such & such bbq place is the BOMB you can trust & believe me.

Now, I LOVE to eat & drink & I KNOW what Im talking about. I guess you just have to know me but I can assure you nobody is paying me to write nice things about them. I say whatever I think and if I wasn't in Las Vegas right now I would be ordering from Weilands right now.

One last thing: The CRAFT BEER!!! It's delicious! My very favorite is Weiland Blonde. The bartender, Alan, will pour sample glasses for you so you can be sure you choose your favorite flavor brew. Get off your butt and go check this place out. Its my current favorite neighborhood eatery. Weilands is very affordable. They're on the south side of Coast Highway accross the street from the 99 cent store between Crenshaw & Western. See you there!

We liked the beer and food. Good service, very friendly. Lomita needs more places like this!???? We made a second visit, this is a super spot! Try all the beers and food, you won't be disappointed! Great Job Weiland????

I'm rarely on this side of town so this was kind of a search for me to find it. This part of town tends to be crowded with a lot of fast food and I was looking for something else. Right off the bat I could tell that the place was a fairly new restaurant. The owners were clearly involved in the day to day operations. One of them was clearly the bartender. No offense but he just didn't look like a typical craft beer bartender kind of guy. Craft beer is beyond in and you can tell they wanted to cash in on this theme. The decor had plenty of television sets with different sports on.

I ordered the blue cheese burger. I had asked my waiter(super nice guy) what he recommended since it was my first time there. Between the BBQ and the burgers is what he said. The burger didn't disappoint at all. Very large and in charge. I was actually struggling to finish the second half of it. It might have been the beer that got me full prior to the food. They have plenty of beers on draft to choose from. Overall the staff was great, super eager and friendly. Price was about average. If I'm ever back in this part of town I will consider swinging by and trying the BBQ.
