Fukanoya

For $82 you get 6 courses and ice cream at the end. Being used to mostly nigiri omakase in OC, it was a nice change to see a lot traditional Japanese food served alongside the nigiri. Every course was delicious and by the end I was so stuffed I could barely finish dessert. I would recommend the hojicha ice cream if you like green tea.

Excellent quality sashimi and sushi. Chef Shige is very professional and pays attention to detail. He takes his time and effort preparing each dish and make sure you're satisfied with his food. We ordered the omakase set and it has about 8 courses (including soup and dessert) that's worth every penny.
Truly a gem in South Bay with superb quality that's comparable, if not better, to some of the top rated sushi restaurants in LA.

I call this marvelous restaurant from time to time as I enjoy the special air that is outline this restaurant. The crew is extremely friendly and well trained. The service is pretty efficient. Most important, the food they cook is excellent. I came often and I was always pleased. The expense is reasobable. I highly recommend this place to all my friends.
