The Coffee Parlor is a darling new addition to Long Beach. The aesthetic is clean, classy, and fun, and the food is delicious. It is a great place to hang or study as there are many two-person tables with a plethora of plugs and two four-person tables for larger groups.
I ordered an avocado toast, and I was not disappointed. At 7.50, the price seemed a bit steep, but the piece of toast was huge, and it probably had a whole avocado on top. It was also topped with fresh cherry and grape tomatoes, radish slices, a variety of greens, and housemade chimichurri. As of today, it is my new favorite avocado toast in the Long Beach area.
They also have breakfast sandwiches ($8), an assortment of pastries, and bagels. They will be adding more food items soon, including breakfast burritos.
The coffee and espresso, however, were not quite there. I could tell the beans were good and that the roast was good, but both the coffee we ordered and the latte were quite weak, both in regard to caffeine content and flavor. The coffee and esprresso, in short, left a lot to be desired. But, I think with a few adjustments it could be great.
Overall, though, I am very excited to have Coffee Parlor in the neighborhood, and I can’t wait to see what they will brew up next!
Can’t believe this is their 2nd day open!!! They are like a well oiled machine. Greeted with pleasant, knowledgeable staff and I even got to meet the owner and his business manager. The drip coffee is smooth with a full body. The avocado toast is amazing. It’s on a thick, lightly toasted bread with layers of tastes. The store is filled with natural light and plenty of tables. It is so nice to have an independent coffee shop, close by with lots of parking. Can’t wait to. Come back with friends and family.
Stopped by on their opening day and was impressed with the setup. The staff was friendly and seemed excited to be open. The menu offered various coffees and food options (some not yet available) at fair prices. I only ordered an espresso, but it tasted great and I'm looking forward to going back some morning to try out their breakfast options.
Get the breakfast sandwich! So yummy.
I ordered an iced vanilla latte with macadamia nut milk that was delicious as well. Really happy the Coffee Parlor is finally open!
Excited to have this new place open in the neighborhood.
The coffee was excellent. I had the breakfast sandwich and the brioche was amazing as were the parts inside it.
It was awesome to see how found they were in the first day, and I can only imagine how awesome it'll be in the future.
