California Pizza Kitchen

I've never really had a good time at this CPK, I always preferred the Lakewood one. Although this time was worse. Our waiter, was more focused on serving his friends behind us than us. We sat for about 10 minutes before he came to get our drinks and orders. Then we waited for our food, and when it got to the table we never got utensils to eat. We then flag down the waiter and ask for utensils, we waited 5 minutes for utensils. Finally we finish our food and my friend wants to order dessert, we get the menu and it takes the waiter 20 minutes to come back from somewhere. We ordered our dessert, and he took our plates. Soon after getting the dessert he immediately gives us our check, I guess he is only fast for that. I still gave a tip but dang, what a terrible experience.

Food is good, service was nice, but the place was freezing. Several people asked them to turn the air down but they never did. It was hard to enjoy our food with how cold it was inside.

My niece and I visited for lunch. I felt prices were reasonable, service was excellent, her chicken salad and my personal pizza and Cesar salad were flavorful. Very comfortable atmosphere and attentive wait staff.

The restaurant had a cozy kind of old feeling mixed with a heavy dose of hipster. The food was tasty if a little overpriced. Our waiter was friendly and we had a pleasant conversation. I was a little surprised to see such variety in their menu. There were a lot more options then just pizza and pasta which is what I initially thought it was.
