The French dip here is highly recommended. I would get it plus the chicken avocado sandwich. The staffs are great and the scenery is at a popular spot in Long Beach
Very small half sandwich very small soup with a drink cost me $13!!! A lot of money for very little food. I won't be coming back. Now I know why it's dead.
We got the original, tuna melt w extra avocado n bacon, the club w extra avocado and holiday turkey... all came out well and delicious. I had the tuna melt and loved it!! Everyone was happy with their sandwiches.
It was my first time at Earl of Sandwich. I got the Italian. It was a decent sandwich. The bread was well toasted had a crunchy crust with a lot of give, the crumb still maintaining its moist fluffy characteristics. The Italian meats had good bold flavors. Generally an average sandwich, it wasn't crazy amazing that I would go out of my way to get. Though if I am in the area it would be a good option. It really is a nice good option because the area doesn't really have options unless you you're rich, pale, and stale or a snooty douche alcoholic.
The staff and the management are still figuring things out. They need improvements on their take out/pick up system, it does not seem like they would be able to handle more volume than 3 people at a time.
It's a very small spot, so not a good place for groups. Inside seating looks like max 8 people, then the outside patio is teeny tiny. I can see parking being a bit of a challenge. It's a new place with what seems to be a new franchise owner. Just another average chain franchise....
