Moonrise

We had vegan rice noodles and Thai green tea. The food was good but it’s too pricey for the quantity. :( 3 stars for the food vs price and quantity.
The ambience was cute. 1 more extra star for the ambience and friendly staff.
Minus one star for - lot of plastic usage and no recycling bins. :( I wish, they were mindful about pollution.

The Banh mi's here are great! I miss having the vegetarian options from the previous menu but the fried tofu does the job for non meat eaters. The combination and pork banh mi's were on par or better to what I can get in Little Saigon. It's cheating to put butter on the bread but I want all my banh mi's to have it now. The bread was a good size and perfectly toasted. The price is decent too. All the sandwiches were under $9.

The Vietnamese iced coffee was excellent. It's on the pricy side at $5. At least they gave me a good amount of coffee and not ice.

I hope they keep it up and find firm footing in the neighborhood. We're lucky to have them! We need more fast causal restaurants like this in this area.

I love this place!! The sandwiches are delicious, great drinks, and the staff are super friendly. Will be coming back!

I decided to try Moonrise, a new restaurant on Broadway, between Atlantic and Linden. Ordering online was easy. I picked up the beef and rice, an order of egg rolls, and an iced Vietnamese coffee.... Which was around $23...not too bad, after all, EVERYTHING is high nowadays. For the amount of food I got, I ended up feeling like it was actually a good deal! Well, first of all, the egg rolls weren't that great. A little dry on the inside....BUT the beef and rice was REALLY good. Rice was perfect, beef was tender with no fat, seasoned deliciously.... And it came with some cucumber slices which were crisp and fresh, as well as tomato slices. Overall, everything tasted really fresh, which is important to me. The coffee was good and I like the cup it came in, so cute.... Here's a picture... After I drank the coffee LOL. I will definitely be coming back! If you live in this area, it's definitely worth the walk over there neighbors!! Just my 2 cents!;
