(March 13, 2019, 8:38 am)Gave this place another chance. I got the right order this time. Jerk chicken and my husband got the curry goat, both were very good. Decent portions for the price. I will probably try the BBQ chicken next. Jerk chicken is pretty spicy.

(March 6, 2019, 5:39 am)Very friendly staff and the rice and peas was delicious, but the jerk chicken was disappointing. I wondered if they'd accidentally given me brown stew chicken because it was so unlike jerk chicken, but the pictures I see here look like the plate I was given. The sauce had a sweet, not spicy taste too it, and the chicken was soft, somewhat gooey with the sauce, unlike the smokiness or slightly charred look of usual jerk. The ladies in back were authentically Jamaican. Left me confused

(March 6, 2019, 5:11 am)Yassssss. Got the pleasure of meeting Simone. She is a true Jem. The cooks are on point. They put love in the food and that's important. Happy cooks makes a happy kitchen, happy soul. Closest we have found to Jamaica in San Diego.
