I don't think there's lots of great BBQ in the Bay Area but this is probably my favorite. The only problem with it is that it takes me a while to get down there and they often sell out of certain foods. However I'd rather have a place make less of a good thing than make more and have it be less good.
Excellent BBQ, loved their brisket & ribs- perfectly cooked! great service in a hip place. Happy we stumbled across this spot. If we lived here we'd be coming in regularly
A co worker turned me on to this place a while back and I've returned several times. Always good fresh food and the toppings are awesome. Sure it's a hole in the wall but that doesn't take anything away. Guy Fieri needs to check this place out!
No sitting area, but who needs it? Food is amazing and a great deal. Seriously the most tender beef ribs I've ever had. The cornbread is sweet and all the sides were great.
First off this place is the closest thing to the barbecue that I love in Austin ( the best I have ever eaten) and I am glad that I found it.
Very small dining room so best to go at off hours. Parking can be challenging but there are spaces nearby.
I had a big combo plate with ribs, chicken, brisket and pulled pork. Potato salad and Cole slaw as.my sides. It came with 2 corn muffins.
Meats were all excellent. Ribs and pulled pork were not overly fatty. Chicken was moist and the brisket was.tender and moist. Salads were housemade and good.
It was not cheap ($35) but it was worth it. The comb platter was more than adequate for two people.
I look forward to returning.
