Came here for Sunday brunch. It was packed, even on a rainy day. The owner behind this restaurant have very interesting background. He is also the owner of the historic restaurant Nick's cafe in Chinatown/downtown area. The other guy you'd see tuning around the restaurant with his pictures hanging on the wall is a boxer champion.
The wait is long but waiting time is about 20 minutes. Many families come for brunch. Staffs are fast and friendly. There are not that many vegan options. (Basically only two, vegan burrito and vegan skillet, with the same ingredients).
The food was good. Vegan skillet has a bed of hash browns (yay) and good portion of spinach and other veggies, alongside with a half of avocado. (Thumbs up). One thing I found it "fascinating" was there were a few whole leaves of lettuces. I'm not quite sure why they didn't chop it or why they just throw a few leaves in between grilled veggies. I'm not sure but find it very interesting.
I like their salsa that is spicy enough but not too hot. There are three spaces, one waiting room, one dining space another one is kitchen. You can also choose to seat outside.
Anyway, I like the place. Would come here with friends and family. I do wish they could have more vegan and healthy food tho.

Yet another reason to travel from Pasadena to Eagle Rock. I hate to tell you about this place cuz it's getting crowded but it is damn good. Take all your favorite breakfast and kick him up a notch with the unique twist and that's Rock and Eggs Cafe. Yeah you'll have to fight for parking and wait in line but it's worth it. Take you friends take your family but don't let him know I let the cat out of the bag.

A very good breakfast. The country sausage was very flavorful. Over easy eggs were cooked to the proper doneness. A generous portion of hash browns and toast were included. I honestly didn't expect this much food, so I also ordered the half order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy with a nice outer crust, without being hard as some I've tried elsewhere have been. The gravy was good, without being peppery.

Nice local dinner/cafe with wonderful service: staff really friendly, attentive and cordial. Coffee was good and free refills. We order regular eggs, hash browns and bacon. Everything was cool right and enjoy the meal. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely come back. Love local businesses!
