Beelman's

This is a HIGH-END Korean barbecue experience! My girlfriend and I were skeptical at first because this spot is realistically $$$.

But it blew our minds because the service was excellent, the meats were amazing quality, and the "side dish" game is STRONG. See my pictures for substantiation.

It was a bountiful feast. We ordered the A Course which serves 2, and it was filling. Food just kept coming out.

The interior is clean and the ambiance is pleasant. Most Korean barbecue places have that potent meat and oily smell that sticks onto your clothes and hair after you walk out. Here, that smell is barely noticeable.

I've been to Genwa some years back and didn't have a great experience. I was with a big group of people and our server seemed totally lost. Service was extremely and painfully slow. Fast forward a few years and I was looking for a nicer Korean BBQ joint for a family outing. Since Genwa had pretty impressive reviews on Yelp I decided to give the place another try. I must say, my experience this time around was much better than the first one. Service was good. Food was delicious - really liked all the side dishes. And for the food and the ambiance, I thought their price was reasonable too.

Breakfast burrito is fantastic. Great selection of craft beers and cocktails. Go-to place for entertaining vegan visitors in DTLA.

This is a great place for a quick bite while visiting the Los Angeles Wharf. It is located 1 block away and unlike tourist trap restaurants it is reasonably priced.
We had the fish & shrimp platter with chips. The fish & chips and fried shrimp is the best I ever had in my life. Golden batter and fresh Beelman's. Potatoes were also perfectly fried. They give you 3 kinds of sauces. Tartar, marinara, and vinegar. So good.
Friendly staff and smiley service. The seating is outdoors, clean, and casual.
Highly recommend this place. You will love the service and great food.

Vegan food, yeah, super good. got there near seven, it wasn't very crowded. staff treated us so nice. the bill was decent. this place has many great reviews for a reason.
