Tried their brunch. Just a breakfast with few added lunch items. Very-very pricey for breakfast or lunch. The hamburger with a side of fries (it comes without additional anything) was $34. Ouch! Our total bill for a-la-cart brunch for 5 was $310. This is outrageous for 3 burgers, 1 omlete, 4 onion soup & 2 bar drinks that very very tiny.
Place was very noisy, and very expensive.
Service was good.
Definitely a restaurant we will return to often. We didn’t have reservations on a weekend morning so unfortunately no tables were available. But I much preferred seating at the chefs counter. I love observing the chefs create. I have dined at chefs tables in many restaurants in several cities and it’s always fun and interesting. The breakfast here was really fresh and delicious. As my friends and I usually do, we tasted each other’s food and each entree had great flavor. My omelette was my favorite. Portion size is right, you won’t leave hungry. I thought the hostess and the servers were attentive, helpful and friendly. A very good experience.
Great service, great food and in the freaking valley. It's also a surprisingly good value, our bill was 150 out the door, including tip, for two with mains, drinks and dessert.
Food, service, & value. This is the reason we go out to eat. This place exceeds expectations. Worth the trip, the cash, & the time.
Ask for the chef's counter, so you can see the chefs do work.
Highly recommended.
We were really excited to try Petit Trois, as we love Trois Familia and also were craving French food having recently returned from a trip to Paris. Unfortunately we were a little underwhelmed by both the food and the service. The Acorn soup special was fantastic (soft & light texture, superb flavor), and the Baked Alaska also had a beautiful exterior/presentation and was nicely paired with the Pistachio ice cream. However, we didn't find the Pate or the burger to be outstanding. The service seemed off (perhaps an off night for the staff) - we had to ask multiple times for everything (water, bread), and the check was brought before we were even asked if we wanted desert. Unfortunately I do not think it was worth the price and we'll likely not return.
