Went on a Saturday night without reservations. Luckily we got there early enough to be seated right away. Seemed like most people made a reservation. The fish was very fresh and I was impressed by the selection. We ordered mainly sashimi and left very satisfied with our meal. We brought our own sake. There is also valet parking. Would recommend a visit.

My favorite spot for good, clean and fresh sushi. They got the best Spicy Tuna Crispy rice and a delicious portobello mushroom. The staff are super friendly and their restaurant have great lighting for couples. Its a mandatory for me to be there at least twice a month. Thats how much I like it.

Came here for Valentine’s Day & it was just okay. Our crispy rice was cold & the rice tasted like it had been sitting there for awhile. It wasn’t very packed, but the waiter never came back to check on us, he also messed up our order. Not sure I’d go back. Only reason this is a 4 & not a 3 is the cute paper latern decor.

The best place. The only place me and my husband eat sushi at. It became my #1 destination after moving from NYC. Would recommend everyone to go here.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon to visit Universal Studios, and all LA has to offer. We had a taste for seafood/sushi and were struggling with where to go. We initially went to The Drunken Crab and left after 12 minutes of not getting any service. We both are in the service industry and are very patient. Decided to leave without making a scene, and it took us another 10+ minutes to find Kaiju. When we got there, it was busy! We could tell the servers were rushing around, yet still doing their job, and figured that it would take a few to get service (although this time it was obvious why) but to our surprise, Sean, our server came to us quickly. He got our drinks quickly, and mentioned they were quite busy. Not only were our drinks out quickly, he had intense knowledge of the menu, and our food was out just as quick. He always found time to stop by and chat with us even though the place was packed. It was a fantastic dining experience because not only was the food amazing, Sean was absolutely stellar. We would come back next time we visit not only for the awesome atmosphere and food, but to see Sean and get the same amazing service that you don’t find most places. If you’re reading this- thank you Sean, you killed it and we couldn’t be more happy with our experience.
