Heard this place was known for its cheesy dak galbi. The hype is REAL. Such juicy, tender chicken... I will definitely come back next time I'm in town.
Soooooo good. Authentic and spicy. Prices great, servings huge and side dishes fresh
Having lived in ChunCheon, the Dalkabi here was underwhelming but good for a memory of what was a weekly dinner for me.
I drove across L.A. using Google maps, said closed 10pm, but really it's 9pm, as they lie about their last call for food is 10pm (910pm is real time). At 930, I was turned away while people ate, had to drive the next day again.
Whenever I visit LA, I go to this place. My FAVORITE place. But there is only 2 server for busy time. That is reason I gave 4 stars eventho the food is super good.
Chicken stew (made as you sit) in a big flat sizzling dish followed by leftovers made of the remaining chicken and veggies plus kimchi plus rice and seaweed. The gooey red paste all caramelized on the bottom of the hot dish makes for a nice crust on the fried rice. It's a beautiful thing, a tiered foodie experience.
