How can you say bad things about this place.The quality of their produce is always wonderful. The staff members are always super friendly and kind. They can modify the smoothies to your liking and deviate from the menu. So good!

I get the strawberry and banana smoothie and add a extra banana it’s so good best smoothie place ever I highly recommend.

Java Juice, a counter juice bar, is the current reiteration of a century old California tradition: creative, interesting, freshly made to order, non-alcoholic juice drinks. Also offered are snacks, and packaged meals. The knowledgeable staff is friendly and efficient. Many health additives can be added to the drinks. There is no indoor seating. Seating on a patio, directly in front of the juice bar, has comfortable, umbrella covered tables and chairs. Noah's bagels is next store and a popular exercise studio is one floor up.

Juicing started in Southern California, when Arnold Ehret, brought his "forever young" diet to Los Angeles in 1914. The Midwest had been the home of "health foods." (Kellogg's, Post, etc) Ehret's recommended diet was limited to fruits, vegetables and toast. The diet took hold among the beautiful people, the Hollywood film community. Soon health food and specialized groceries stores and restaurants developed, offering freshly squeezed juice, sprouts and avocados.

Healthy, fresh or cold pressed, sweet juices are delicious in small quantities, and are a good source of some vitamins. Unfortunately, there is also lots of sugar and unless added, little or no fiber.

There is no public restroom. Noah's does offer a neutral-gender, wheelchair accessible bathroom. Everything is wheelchair accessible including free validated parking in an elevator serviced, multi-level parking structure.
