Noah's Bagels

Noah's steamed bagels are well made. A steamed bagel has a softer crust than the traditional boiled bagel. Both styles are "proofed" and baked. The cooking process takes about two hours. So every once in awhile, when an usually large order comes in, they can run out of some varieties. Calling/texting ahead guarantees your order.

Noah's is a team effort. Regulars are greeted by name. Since, I am a regular, I have seen them instantly exchange jobs in order to keep the line moving. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Amalia, the manager, runs a tight but friendly restaurant. Alan, the baker, turns out excellent bagels, rolls, and muffins.. He gets in around three in the morning.

Noah's is a shabby/chic, New York style, neighborhood eatery, located on the street level of a two story shopping plaza. Patio and restaurant seating is offered. On the floor above is an exercise room filled with the beautiful people, you know, celebrities, actors and athletes. The paparazzi often hang-out to get pictures.

For years I've kept vegan "cream cheese" in their refrigerator to schmear on a cracked-peppercorn bagel. Add a couple of slices of tomato and cucumber, then sprinkle capers and you have a vegan breakfast sandwich.

They offer at least a dozen choices of bagels and Danish, many flavors of coffee, brewed and espresso. Brewed coffee refills are free. A ten percent discount is available to seniors; just ask.

And don't forget the discussion table. It's at the front of the store and is populated by funny, intelligent locals solving the world's problems. Pounder this: Does the table make the people smart? Or is it the bagels?

Everything is wheelchair accessible including a gender neutral locked bathroom. The code is available from the cashier.

Free validated parking. In summer, when it gets hot, your car stays reasonable in the underground garage. Escalators and an elevator reach all floors.

I had an excellent sandwich just as I ordered and the crew there was excellent great service. I will definitely visit again.

Excellent customer service, this was my first time going here but I will be back a million more times. I had asked the young man to pick out a bagel which would go with my order... It was a direct hit... Keep up the good work guys.. ????????????????
