Glad this place is still around. Childhood memories from late 80s of this place lol. Will check it out this summer when I go back to LA to visit! PUPUSAS!!!!
It has great food and great service and the people are nice give it five stars always
Very friendly, great service and amazing food
One of the most authentic Salvadoran restaurants around KoreaTown. If you are looking for the tastes, this is it! Small space but enough seating that you won't have to wait. Business is moderate-fair but has never been packed. There is no parking in KTown! Rule of thumb in KoreaTown (I live here) is public transportation or ride share. This place can be hard to spot as it blends in very well with the building it is in. It is directly on the corner diagonal to Jon's Market/across from R Bar. They except both cash and card. They also have fresh Salvadoran Quesadilla for sale at the register. I go for the Pupusa de Loroco, Pan con pollo (one of the best I have tasted), Tamal de Chipilin, and Ensalada. I haven't tasted anything bad from there yet. Though I will say their Curdito is a bit weak compared to a few home made ones I have had. On the plus side, you do get fresh chips and salsa and the staff is friendly and speaks both English and Salvy Spanish (it's different from traditional Spanish) Overall I give this place 5 stars considering it's such a small place.
Yummy. A must everytime I'm in the area. I can just taste it now.
