Great scene for delicious American food. The fool was super appetizing. This place has a nice atmosphere. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I loved.

American food and the setting here is very good. Food was so delicious. Next time I'll be back with my friends. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Like a restaurant in Washington I liked.

OH MY THAT HAM!! The best ham I've had.. I love nicks, its and old school diner that has a counter only and feels very homey. Their famous ham and eggs are a good cure for the breakfast cravings. Their coffee is strong and the way coffee should always taste. They also have very good and a variety of eggs Benedict, the corned beef is my favorite. Also be very hungry because they have large portions.

American food, yeah, very delicious. Fell in love with this place from the 1st taste. The staff was very welcoming and observant. Prices were decent. Atmosphere is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I loved.

Off the beaten path American diner, located near Chinatown and Echo Park. Decided to come here based off other reviews and can confirm, the food is great and the service is good. The interior reminds me of the diners that litter the Midwest complete with the aged fountain machine and circular stool type seats. They do not take cards so make sure to bring cash or an ATM card (there is a machine available). Also, I say inside due to the cool weather, but they also have a spacious outdoor patio.

I ordered the Mini Pan San from the specials menu - available before 10am. For a reasonable ~$10 my order came with three medium sized pancakes, two eggs (sunny side up) and choice of meat (sausage patty). I was feeling hungry so I also requested a half order of hash browns for ~$2.5. I was sufficiently full and content after eating the food. It's not hard to make basic breakfast food and serve it, but it takes work to make it worth coming back for. One of the servers even suggested the house made berry syrup, which I highly recommend. I used that instead of the normal syrup on my pancakes. I have no complaints for Nick's Cafe.
