Bok Choy is family-owned and operated, great for a quick and healthy dinner (with just the right amount of options), and an easy choice for comfort food that doesn’t sit like comfort food.

What really impressed me upon first-visit was the attention they pay to the health benefits of their farm-fresh veggies; it is clearly not (only) a sales pitch for this place, but something they believe in. It’s also nice to see region-specific varieties of their vegetables, to provide some difference in taste. Portions are sizable, and they skimp neither on the meat nor on the veggies. It’s great to get a dish that doesn’t feel overloaded with rice…

If that’s not enough to keep you coming back, then the staff surely will. They are friendly, professional, and recognize return visitors. Bok Choy is a solid choice for a neighborhood bite!

Delicious and healthy food served up by an extremely friendly staff. The menu is very simple and the ingredients are fresh. They have a few seasonal offerings of bok choy, but it's mostly just a choice of protein (chicken, beef, shrimp), brown or white rice, and a vegetable. They do a really nice job of marinating the protein so that it's flavorful and the portion sizes are perfect. It's a good meal for pre or post workout.

This place is great. I was visiting Los Angeles from overseas and I came across Box Choy and I honestly do not know what it is. We do not have this in my country so I went in and I thought to my self what the hell. I will try it if I don't like it it was only 10-12$ .. honestly, I am glad I've tried it. I am not a big greens guy but this was a meal that was fulfilling and I still can't get the taste out of my mouth ???? I can't wait to come back and eat there again next year. Thank you to a great staff, they are super friendly.
