Delightful! Quality food, great flavor, exciting presentation. Applause to the chef. Perfect for dates or parties. Service was so so. One guy was aggressive and angry for no reason.
There were 10 of us and that can be a bit of a strain on a relatively small place. However, everything was excellent. Everyone was very happy with their lunch and it's one of the best I've ever had. So it's expensive - it was worth every penny.
This place deserves 5 stars, however the 2 hostesses on Saturday were rude, indifferent and unaccommodating. The server, manager and food and overall service was definitely 5 stars. However the female hostess in my opinion should not be the first point of contact because she does not have the skills to make you feel welcomed She would not listen to any requests nor explore any options. I made a reservation for 13 people and another for 5-6 (some members were going to be possibly be stuck at a previous engagement). The first question was where would each table be located . She advised that the first table was upstairs and she did not know where the other table would be located because it was 7:30 pm and the reservation for second table was for 8pm. I asked if the first table could be near the second table and without exploring the option her response was no. The second question was to ask if members did not attend could we add one more person and make it 14 instead of 13? The limit is 14 for large parties before requiring a special menu so I was within their specific requirements. Again without any hesitation her answer was no and when I asked the question again she responded, “if you listen I already explained that we can not.” When I went upstairs the manager was amazing! He quickly asked his staff to move a table. The server and other staff members were also equally as gracious, polite, and provided excellent service.
As a side note my family and I really love what they did with this space, we had explored this building with hard hats and love how it was brought back to its glory. I have been to Le Petit a couple of times, but it’s my first review. The Batchelder's tile work is amazing and beautifully incorporated to the design.
Lovely restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Had something simple, the Salmon Club, and it was delicious and beautifully plated. Be sure to check out the store next door, not sure of the affiliation but they are definitely associated.
We went to Petit Paris for happy hour, but the host accidentally sat us at a table where apparently you can’t get happy hour pricing on apps / drinks. We didn’t know any better so we ordered from the menus, they gave us, thinking we would get 50% off of the menu prices. Much to our dismay, we did not. Long story, short, after some discussion the manager gave us one appetizer (out of seven) at happy hour price and 50% off drinks.
It was a compromise we both made, but it was made because a restaurant employee sat us in the wrong place; not because we accidentally sat there ourselves.
Food was nothing amazing, but it was good. Tho host made the mistake in our seating so I’m not impressed with that part of their service, but waiters were quite good.
