BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

I had a nice salad, ordered boneless root beer Chicken Wings. I even went back to order some to take back home. Waiter was excellent, that I gave him a nice tip.

Went to BJs with a group of coworkers. Fast service even for 17 people. Friendly staff and delicious lunch.

Small, but the 15-20 minute wait was only 11 minutes. Waiter was great, got us in and out quickly as we were headed to a show. The food was good. They didn't have the broccoli that my son wanted to order, but he was stoked on the berries in the fruit cup.

The deep dish is really thick crust. Kinda like pizza hut pan pizza. It's definitely a UCLA type of place.

This is a great place to go directly after having to break up with your girlfriend because she doesn't have the stones to admit she doesn't love you anymore.

This part of town is bustling on a Friday night, but there is still a good bit of parking -- though you probably won't notice that while your patient, charitable friends parallel park the car and you silently run through the final moments of your doomed relationship.

The food here is standard American fare. Comfort food. You have your pizzas, wings, beer, and of course the signature "pizookie" -- a large cookie covered in ice cream. You can go ahead and order three or four of those for your 3 person group and just shovel it in your mouth to try and forget the growing fear that you may be alone for the rest of your life.

The servers here are great! Ours was kind and attentive. It won't be weird at all when you ask them about the most comforting food on the menu because you just separated from your significant other and you need a pick-me-up. It's not like they'll smile awkwardly and mention that their dog is sick because they don't know how to relate to that sinking feeling you have that love is a shallow grave you dug yourself into.

So, I highly recommend BJ's. This is a great chain, and this location is no exception. Though the sting of my breakup is nearly a year in the past, the delicious food at BJ's is something I just can't get over.
