The service was great, the outside location was pleasant. The LA climate lends itself to outside dining, even in winter. The food was tasty and fresh, all in all a good experience. The overall cost for 3 people at around $100 AU for 3 burgers fries and drinks was a little steep,
As always best choice when you crave a burger and want somewhat of a healthy choice. Their burgers are great, sweet potato fries not greasy and fresh. Best choice in the area. The only reason for the 4 and not the 4 star is the long waiting time for the delivery. If you want a great burger in Chelsea go for it!
My favorite location for quality burgers. I love eating here. The staff was helpful and kind. The bill won't shock you. Mood here is similar to Fresno's scene.
I ordered The Trotter - absolutely loved their in house horseradish sauce; it added a great addition to the burger. My friend had the fried chicken sandwich and said it was very moist (even when she opted for no mayo). The basket of fries is definitely a generous portion to share and very fresh and hit the spot. The guys working the front/drove were nice and made everything to order which we appreciated. Will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items
Normally, I review restaurants that I eat in. This time, I ordered food for take out, and my wife went there to pick up the order while I stayed with my grandchildren.
I read that there is a vegetarian burger called the Impossible Burger that tastes like meat. They sell these at Umami Burger outlets.
Over the years, I have eaten lots of kinds of vegetarian burgers, and none of them actually tasted like burgers made of actual ground beef until now. If someone had given me the Impossible Burger with truffle sauce, which is what I just had for dinner, and hadn't said it was vegan, I would have thought it was actual ground beef.
It wasn't as good as the best burger I have ever had. That was a rare burger that I had three years ago. I still remember it fondly. But the Impossible Burger was as good as the top 25% of beef burgers I've eaten.
I ordered the same Impossible Burger for my daughter who is a vegetarian, and I needed to reassure her several times, after she took her first bite, that I wasn't tricking her into eating beef against her will. She liked the Impossible Burger a lot.
My wife had the Umami Burger, an actual beef burger. She loved it.
