Lalibela

I went with group of six, we were able order one big plate with 12 different dishes: vegan (5), vegetarian (3) and meat (4) options. great beer and wine. everybody were happy. recommended

Omg I love this place! Amongst all of the restaurants in Little Ethiopia, this is the first and only that I have tried. The food is great! I like the ambiance in the restaurant. I’ve sat outside to eat as well and it was nice. The last time I went, I ordered wine and the waitress was very knowledgeable on the wine and guided me to a white wine that I would like. She brought the wine out and let me and my friend taste it first instead of just pouring us a whole glass. I loved that! But the food is very good. I am a returning customer!

Lalibela is my favorite place to get Ethiopian food. It’s fresh, the flavors and spice levels are on point, and the atmosphere is very cozy and intimate. I’ve been here a dozen or more times and it never gets old. They have something for everyone, meat eaters and veggies/vegans. Whether you eat meat or not, you should definitely try the veggie utopia platter. It’s great for two people, and allows you to sample an array of options they have. The lamb and beef tibs are also very delicious. Perfect spot for a date, or with a group of friends!

This was a comfortable setting with warm service and excellent food. A place one can call home. A place one can bring friends with pride as the quality of the food would not let you down.

Very nice place. Good food. Open floor plan makes it a cozy environment. I have consistently seen the same folks providing service. They are friendly and accommodating. I request changes to the listed items on the menu and not once have they said no. Quantity is hearty.

The service is slow. But, I must say that has been my experience regardless of which Ethiopian restaurant I have been to. In fact, I actually don’t mind that anymore. Forces me to slow down and enjoy the down time.
