Best. Pasta. Ever. This guy is seriously a pasta genius and you will never go and be disappointed. The pastas change weekly in a quaint little Wine bar and you get to watch all your dishes be made in front of you. Burrata and toasted baguette makes for the perfect app with a nice glass if wine and I usually order all 3 daily pasta selections so I can try them all. My favorite pasta in LA hands down!
Delicious, delicious pasta! It's a very small joint, maybe fits 18 people. But the pasta is worth it. Very fresh, cooked to perfection. You only get 3 pasta choices and they are all good. For the cost and quality it beats the hell out of some very popular overly expensive restaurants, aka Bestia (cough). Pastas at Cento are from $15-18, and we're talking shrimp with gnocchi and short rib with gnocchi. It's only open for a few hours a day but definitely worth the visit. Cost of 3 pastas, 2 glasses of wine and fresh mozzarella appetizer was $87.
I must have passed by this building a hundred times, yet have never noticed its existence due to its nondescript exterior. Better late than never. Bella Trattoria is a wonderful family-run Italian restaurant offering flavorful dishes at very reasonable prices and excellent service. The interior is small and dark, offering a very romantic setting.
italian food... so delicious. Nice place to meet and catch up with family. The service here is outstanding. Prices were good for how much you get.
Really great pasta and friendly service. They didn’t have a menu printed as it changes daily based on the fresh ingredients they have on hand. Come with an open mind and adventurous palette. We got the beet pasta and uni pasta. I didn’t really know what to expect with the beet pasta but it was delicious. Subtle, and with the goat cheese it was perfect. Tons of flavor in the uni pasta as well. It was fun watching them cook as we enjoyed our wine.
Be sure to call for availability before making your way over. Parking can be a bit tough near the fashion district but this place is worth it!
