Foods was great, serve was good, a little cozy so you might hear your neighbor's conversation, but you could use it as a chance to meet new people!

Great local place for comfort food! Amazing service! We love walking down the street and sitting outside on a sunny day.

The food here was pretty good. We had the tortellini and the duck rice. The service is like true Italian service if you've ever been to Italy. Slow. Which can be relaxing for some and frustrating for others. But everyone was friendly and we had a good night.

I live in Spokane Washington (East side of Washington state for those of you that are geographically challenged) and when I found out I was coming to LA for business, I marked this on my must visit list!

I went over the menu and watched a few videos about the restaurant and people’s perspectives and chose the tortellini pasta, and here’s why...

I have a culinary degree and I always love learning about food. When I discovered they had a reverse tortellini here, I had to find out what that was like. Instead of putting the broth/sauce on the outside to coat the pasta, they put it on the inside. Interesting thought. FANTASTIC outcome! So you don’t get very many for the price, but it’s OH SO WORTH IT for the experience! When you bite into these little slices of heaven, they pop open in your mouth and an explosion of flavor just flows over your taste buds. You have to be prepared because they come out hot, but they melt in your mouth and they’re SO good!

I followed that up with the chocolate mousse type dessert and it was very rich and VERY filling. It may SEEM small, but I almost couldn’t finish it and I didn’t even eat lunch that day. Ha!

Anyway, well worth the experience! And I’d go back to try more if I had the time and the money! Maybe next time, Los Angeles!
