Frank's

Very nice little Mexican restaurant. Informal. Friendly staff. Excellent service. Plain decor. Reasonable prices considering the excellent quality of the food. Generous portions.

I've eaten here lots of times over the past decade since my daughter lives in the neighborhood. Had brunch here today with my wife

She had a cheese omelet with mozzarella cheese and home fries. It had plenty of home fries, and she enjoyed it. I had a veggie quesadilla. It was excellent. I had the small one. It was pretty big. The main suggestion that I have for Frank's is that they change their salsa from the highly liquid salsa that they give out with the corn chips, and that drips down onto my shirt every time I eat the chips with that liquid salsa, to virtually any other salsa recipe that wouldn't drip onto their customers' shirts or blouses.

There's street parking out front and around the corner.

I recommend Frank's, but be careful of the drippy salsa.

The most hole in the wall place with good food I've ever seen near a fancy area. The decor here is unbelievable; completely raw and unupgraded. Pictures don't do it justice, it hits you like a ton of bricks. Burrito tasted good and wasn't expensive.

Four days in LA and this was the best breakfast we had! It might be the best breakfast we've had anywhere. Chilaquiles are unreal. Huevos Rancheros were incredible. Service was so friendly and quick. Go here!

Chorizo burrito with the verde sauce is amazing. Cool place, super fast service, really nice associates; go here. Hidden gem of LA.

Chorizo breakfast burrito was delicious. Refried beans were also really good. I had the carne asada burrito (I'm a purist) which was 🔥. Wonderful service, fast efficient and great salsa!
