Ichi Tea & Sushi

Guys you have to try fruit tea with cloud! I was like flying above the rainbow!

Ichi enters the growing number of boba spots in Westwood. The fierce competition for customers comes down to brand recognition but also just you're pallet. I generally start with the basic, the classic milk tea. Ichi's milk tea with 50% sugar was just the right level is sweetness for me. The flavor had a slight bitterness to it, which took me by surprise. It is quite different from most other milk teas I've tried. After those first few sips, I enjoyed the milk tea and returned a day later to get another. Definitely give it a shot.

Brand new place. There's a lot of turn over for business in Westwood. This used to be the Coco here. I happened to walk by so I tried it out.

I think I was served by the owner. He was very nice. Staff was nice. Kind of shy, because I don't think they're even officially open yet.

Ordered Super Grape with Cloud Foam, tuna nigiri, and a california roll. Super affordable for about $16.

Super Grape drink was great! Sweetness was just right. There's a taste of TEA. I don't think my flavor was grape but blueberry. I still enjoyed it.

Sushi was surprisingly delicious! It was made to order because the rice wasn't rock cold. Very well rolled and good ratio of foods.

It's really nice and bright in there. They have a lovely flower wall for the 'gram if you're into that. I'm seriously rooting for this place hnnnngggg.
