Kouraku

This is a interesting place. At first I was confused because I didn't realize it would be set up sort of like a cafe/coffee shop. You can order tog o at the register or just sit and someone will come to you. They have different cool water options like water with strawberries... and that's all i noticed actually i don't remember the rest.

I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is great and the crew is attentive and cooperative. always when we visit this place we have a pleasant time. warmly recommended.

Food is out of this world and the beer is descent. I recommend you eat here they have glass case out side if you want to see the foods before hand. Bring cash this place is cash only.

I love this place great prices, great food, great staff, and great atmosphere. Close to many stores here that are popular too. If you haven't eaten at Kouraku what are you waiting for?! Come on in, tell them how many people, enjoy a glass of water, and be happy.

I recently ate at and reviewed The Original Pantry, also in downtown Los Angeles, Kouraku is sort of the Little Tokyo equivalent in my mind. They have a wide ranging Japanese cafe style menu while not spectacular, being very satisfying nonetheless. If you have a hankering for this type of food I can guarantee you that you can find something that will scratch that itch. I also love the classic plastic food display out front, kitschy yet informative of what lies within.
