Lovely place - lovely people. English can be a challenge but they have all the spices and imported goods you might need.

I loved the food, and they give you a lot for a very affordable price. It is very bare bones inside, but the staff is nice and hospitable.

They bring the food to your table too.
I just wish there was more privacy in the restaurant, like cute booths with curtains or something like other Indian restaurants.

Very nice places vesta one time

Shocked and disappointed East India Grill closed on La Brea. I really wanted the eggplant, and the sign on the window referred me to this location. So, we drove twenty minutes to the new location. I ordered the eggplant, and oil was running out of the dish. This was not the same eggplant I remember, nor had. The food was adequate. There is parking in the front for a fee, or in the corner strip mall. There's a grocery store on the other side catering to Indian cuisine for your needs.
