Tenkatori Sawtelle (West LA)

Crispy and delicious. Big chunks of juicy chicken thighs served with a refreshing, tangy yuzu sauce. Excellent and great value! I’ll be back!

"Best kaarage I've ever had" from my friend chicken obsessed husband. This place is a hidden gem, crispy, crunchy, and not overtly oily or salty. Their sauce is great too, and they don't use msg if you're sensitive to msg.

They specialized in moist on the inside and somewhat crispy with a lite batter on the outside type of fried chicken 🐔
I recommend just getting it plain and buy your sauce on the side.
My go-to is the flat wings -- the wings without the unnecessary parts as I call it.

They have a small dining area if you want to eat your chicken freshly out of the fryer.

Located at the second floor of this plaza buzzing with other Asian themed businesses.

Parking is available but it's with a fee I think. If you don't mind paying.

I ordered their signature chicken kaarage and it was cooked to absolute perfection. You can tell they know what they're doing. It was so delicious, it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Would definitely go here again to try their other items.
