So this place is ok. The nachos were the best deal kinda. I got 2 tacos, they were tasty but I think the chicken on my tacos was left over (it had the taste of leftover chicken). The salsa was pretty good. Our server was not that attentive. I think everything was overpriced for what you receive but glad I went. Saw this on TV and it looked more tasty on TV. Also its in a plaza and they charge 15.00 for parking (ridiculous). So we parked a block away. But still glad I experienced it.
The restaurant is beautiful! Super cool! Colors, furniture, bar all of it nailed! Very well designed!
The food is one of the most tasty Mexican I've ever had.
Unfortunately we were a little bit late and we had to take it away because the restaurant was closing. FYI if you want to sit you have to go one hour and a half before.
Also I would have loved to have a drink but the bar was closed already. We arrived 9:20 PM and the restaurant closes 10 PM.
Decided to try Trejo’s Cantina for a late brunch. We just showed up and we’re immediately sat at the cutest table.
Service was quick, friendly and efficient. They had great suggestions for us as we had never been. Decided to try a few things.
They let me out the Fried Chicken taco on a flour tortilla. It was DELISH! I also got the Fried Chicken quesadilla. Seriously so good. Chicken was done to perfection.
I also got the Frozen Strawberry Margarita. They are not messing around. Boozy and yummy. Decided to stay a little longer and order the margarita flight. Another winner.
Restrooms are super clean. You can tell they take a lot of pride in where they work. I will absolutely be back. Had a great time.
Thanks for the amazing service and food!!
Had some amazing vegan tacos!! I'm usually not the biggest jack fruit fan, but they were my favorite! The chips and guac was cleverly put together. They had pistachios in the guac and lime zest on the chips, made for a wonderful flavor combination. My husband had the chicken, beef and fish tacos and loved them all. Trejo's Mexican lager was light and refreshing. Even tried his mango hard seltzer which wasn't overly sweetened (like many are) and our waiter suggested I pour it in the glass with a tahin rim and it was so good to have the spice with the mango. Our waiter was super nice, restaurant was clean and loved the decor. Great place overall, no complaints!!
I had the Baja Fish Taco, Spicy Shrimp "not that spicy but good" and the Fried Chicken taco. All the tacos were good, all ingredients fresh. Also had the Chips and Guacamole, interesting they put pistachios in the Guacamole, it was really good. I tried the hot sauce not to my liking but I also don't like chipotle peppers, I like a bit sweeter pepper hot sauce.
