“I was very impressed with the sushi and drinks! It was my first time. We went for a friend’s birthday and couldn’t be happier with the service staff. Noe was very attentive and bringing us all the tasty Killer Margaritas and Gin Fizzes we needed. The blue crab hand roll was TO DIE FOR! I could’ve eaten a bunch of those and would’ve been happy as a clam. We also enjoyed the caterpillar and Honu roll. You must eat here! I highly recommend!”

“We held a Christmas party in the private room which was set up perfectly for our large group. It was beautifully decorated for the season. The buffet was offered to us and every dish was delicious. The service was outstanding! Thank you Colleen and other staff! The owner personally came in to greet us. This is a gem of a restaurant. Please know that whether you are a party of 3 or 30, you will be served by friendly, hard working staff who provide a wonderful menu of generous portions and consistently delicious food and drinks! The parking is amazing as well. At lunch time it was free and had ample spaces available. It also has a great view of the marina. A dog- friendly environment outside as well. Enjoy it all!!”

“Delicioso! We had a great experience at Uovo in MDR and will definitely be back! The location is lovely with views of the harbor from every outside table. The servers are very attentive as well making for a great dining experience. We recently had a baby and accommodating a stroller was no problem which we appreciated. The menu has a tasting option but know that it’s only served to sets of 2 patrons, so if you have a group of 3, you’re not able to order that way. Thought this was a little interesting as we only had 3 in our party, but we were happy to order a la carte! We started with the yellowtail Crudo appetizer which was fabulous! So fresh and clean. You can tell this restaurant group knows their fish. We also ordered the Cacio e Pepe, Tagliatelle ai Carciofi and the Ragu! The crowd favorite was the Ragu which was just so well done! You can probably pass on the Cacio if you’re a fan of this dish in general. It isn’t the best around. We also ordered a side of the funghi and rounded out our meal with a delicious bottle of chianti. Looking forward to going back soon!”

“I want to give this place a full 5 stars because the neighborhood needs better restaurants, but I have to say the food was underwhelming. Good seafood should make you exclaim at it’s freshness, and good cocktails should give you a buzz without spiking your blood sugar. The seabass was a little dry, the vongole were drowning in brine and the baked mussels were incomplete. The bread was also dense in the worst of ways. It tasted like food that hadn’t been practiced enough.”

Everything has been so good. More than that, Avery at Fat Sal’s is amazing!! Never have I been greeted by such a polite, helpful, and kind human. “As a transplant from New York, I know when I taste authentic delicious New York style pizza. This place is dialed in! Their Neapolitan pizza is delicious with lots of different options and styles. This place also makes a Sicilian pizza which is hard to find out here in California. They’ve also got other great delicious pinwheels and garlic knots. Lots of great dishes and options. They’ve got some tasty desserts too and even have the original New York black-and-white cookie! If you like pizza and other great Italian dishes, this place will do it right”

“A really fun and interactive experience...they have a self serve beer and wine wall with 40 different choices...happy hour from 3p to 6p with 20% off drinks...and 10% off for locals anytime with the exception of happy hour! They also have a full service main bar including all liquor choices if you're not a beer and wine enthusiast. For fun, they have mini table top games like corn hole, checkers, chess, etc. It's a big wide open space that is clean, contemporary and customer focused. “I'd say it's a decent place to grab a quick bite. Music's too loud though and very upbeat, gets tiring after about 15 minutes so not sure how the workers handle being all day here. I'd like to be able to sit down have a chat with a friend or get some work done on the laptop but this place just isn't suited for that. For comfort while sitting inside, it would be nice if there were window shades or tint (and umbrellas for outside tables) - it gets really sunny with floor to ceiling windows. I'm seeing people literally shielding their eyes with a hand as they're chatting over a table. But maybe comfort isn't the point here.”

“I thoroughly enjoy this place. Not because it has great Ambiance or music, they have none, its because you can eat here cheaper than you can cook at home. It's quick, they give you plenty of food and each item is only $2. It's Americans Chinese food served cafeteria style, think Panda, or you can order takeout or doordash delivery. You get a good variety of food from teriyaki chicken to broccoli beef and two kinds of noodles, etc. They also serve chinese-style crunchy fried chicken. Which by the way is delicious. Very different than American style fried chicken. I usually stick to the Chinese food and spend $4 which is plenty of food. Parking is difficult and once they get to know you, they'll let you use the bathroom. I've never tried their juices or fruit drinks but the pictures look pretty good.
