Went there for a business lunch and the service was good although the server kept bringing an incomplete order. No water even after it had been requested and also we asked for two of the salad dressings and she brought only one. The other issue we had is this is not a restaurant for vegetarians. The only vegetarians options are their sides and their side salad and possibly their soup. I had the tomato soup which was awesome. The sandwich portions looked like a lot of food and looked inspiring but I was not feeling a sandwich. The restaurant was busy and their is adequate parking.
My brother has been raving about this spot and I finally got a chance to experience it. I went for breakfast, the coffee was on point! Strong just the way I like it...Nothing watered down like other restaurants usually serve. I ordered the cornbeef hash and eggs with sourdough toast. Everything seems to be made fresh, the hash tasted homemade and just the right amount of seasoning. The eggs were scrambled and perfectly cooked without being dry and overcooked. I tasted a little bit of Their in house strawberry jelly which was pretty tasty. The staff was very friendly and refilled our coffee and water without having to ask. I will definitely return and looking forward to trying other items on the menu.
Great breakfast and brunch menu. Fresh food and good service. Highly recommended. Could be a bit of a wait at times but it is well worth it.
Great. Don't hesitate to go for any meal at any time of the day or night. Always great service, always a great taste. They get things right and have for years. Now that Jerry's Deli is gone, this place is even busier.
Pork and Pancakes. Always a risk for someone from the KC metro area to order anything claiming to be BBQ, but this dish is close to the real thing. Layered pancake, pulled pork, pancake, pulled pork, pancake, pulled pork and topped with a runny egg. the pork is sweet, and that works as a breakfast item. Staff was attentive without hovering. Nice place.
